Come and join us this year to mark Earth Day's 50th birthday and to support the launch
of the Earth Protector Communities -a sister charity set up to support The Stop Ecocide Campaign.
Sing For Earth Day events are taking place on Weds 22nd April around the UK.
This year our events are dedicated to Polly Higgins, visionary Earth Lawyer and founder of
The Stop Ecocide Campaign.
** Update in response to Covid 19 **
We are holding our interactive Earth Day event online via Facebook live for
all people to participate in.
Come and join Liz Terry from her personal profile page on Facebook
Wednesday 22nd April 2020 at 2pm.
See the Facebook event here for more details and hope to see you there:
See our Songs and Guidance tab here:
to listen and learn some of the songs, plus ideas for your creative offerings to the Earth.
( see donate button at bottom of the page)
We are now holding this main event online due to the Covid 19 Pandemic.
It will be in partnership with the Earth Week events which The Stop Ecocide Campaign are organising.
Sing For Earth Day 2020 is dedicated to Polly Higgins and is supporting the Earth Protector Communities initiative..
We hope that you can join us live in a nature tending song based process with The Work That Reconnects
held at the heart of it. Our running theme of Grief and Gratitude
will be woven into the live event using song, music, movement, ritual and nature tending practices.
Liz will be sharing some of the more simple songs and practices from this initiative for people to be able to join in with from their homes, gardens and wild places; inviting people to contribute via the live streaming.
We will co create a Nest Of Gratitude and a Cairn Of Mourning to help to cultivate our gratitude
and to tend our loss and grief in these times.
We will then give these creative offerings to nature as a gift of love from us.
We invite you to make a Gratitude Nest and Cairn Of Mourning in your homes, in your gardens or in nature near to
where you live. Take some photos and short film clips of you doing this and send them to us.
We hope that you can join us and help to make this a beautiful, co created, healing and celebratory experience during
these turbulent times of Covid 19 and the Ecological Crisis.
Later this year there is an invitation to be involved in the
Earth Resonance events (depending on the virus situation here in the UK)
These will be taking place in several places around the UK, on ancient sacred sites and areas of natural beauty
and will be happening throughout the summer months.
Everyone who is involved are invited, once again, to raise awareness and funds for :
Sing For Earth is a Regenerative Culture initiative, rooted in bringing local communities together and supporting environmental initiatives.
We invite you to join us in expressing our love of nature through song, dance, rhythm
and nature tending practices and ritual.
For what we love we will protect.
